Very well located, clean and beautiful scenery. They also have a "driving range" available which is nice for loosening muscles after a long day of driving. A small swimming pool for cooling off, and a small shop with cute gifts and basic necessities. The restaurant also has delicious food at reasonable prices. We will definitely stop there again.

Short attention span. The paddock was already closed when we got there tiredly late on a Sunday afternoon. Still, Frank the cook prepared a tasty dinner for us. We really appreciated it. Likewise, the next morning's light breakfast was very nice. The location is conveniently close for an overnight stop from the border post. It's almost on the road, but it didn't bother us at all during the night. As for the room, it is nice and spacious with a king size bed. A question mark is the sheet and light blanket which were too small for the large bed and intended for a smaller bed. The duvet is fine, but on the warm evenings you don't use it. We also conveyed several problems to the owners the next morning, because we certainly didn't feel like fussing about things that were wrong at that time of the evening. Unfortunately, one only notices the problems after the vehicle has been unpacked. Our feeling is that Baobabs has a lot of potential - but needs attention and supervision before one can unequivocally recommend it.

Rustic, but comfortable. Rustic, but comfortable. Attended wedding ceremony at lodge nearby. Didn't want to drive back to Polokwane after the ceremony. Decided to sleep over at Baobabs Bushveld Rest. Rooms rustic, but completely adequate. Hostess and host very friendly and helpful. Delicious meals and treats at the paddock. Big trees and peaceful atmosphere. Highway passing by does not bother.

Hosts went way out of their way! The owners of Baobab Bushveld Rest really went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable! From the breakfast at the neighbouring padstal to going out of the way to get us ice! A lovely homely experience! A great stop over on the way to Botswana or for many of the wedding venues close by!
