Was unforgettable! Had a warm welcome from the host, the dearest cat. Cottage was furnished with the necessary. Everything was neat and comfortable. Had a nice fireplace that warmed the house.

Silence and tranquility. Very nice and tidy place in the most beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We will definitely visit Baviaanskloof Guest Cottages again.

Unbelievable. Wonderful. Beautiful. Rest and peace. We spent the night in "Die Kerkie" and it was wonderful. The little church totally surprised us with its beautiful and neatly laid out interior. There are two bathrooms, the one bathroom in the bedroom has a nice big bath in it with a wonderful view of the little pond. The other bathroom again has a shower in it. The evening sounds at the pond were incredible. We even had a pig that entertained us rolling around in the pond as well as turtles and ducks. It was truly an exceptional experience to be able to spend the night in the church. The wind came up before we could barbecue, but there is a wonderful barbecue area inside the cottage. It was too delicious to barbecue inside the cottage and eat by candlelight. We would definitely recommend this little church for the silence, night sounds and total peace and quiet after a long day on the road.
