Description
Beachcomber Bay is a Mediterranean-style guest house, decorated in an African theme. It is superbly positioned on the border of Margate and Ramsgate overlooking the warm Indian Ocean. This tranquil venue is less than a 10-minute walk to the centre of Margate, an ideal position for both business and leisure.
All our rooms have private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. In-room amenities include TVs with selected DStv channels, bar fridges and fans Room 1 is the only room with air conditioning. Also supplied in the rooms are tea- and coffee-making facilities as well as guest amenities including soaps, shampoos, moisturisers and shower gel.
Establishment facilities include Wi-Fi Internet access, a wireless weather station, a small informative library. Outside, there is a swimming pool, a pool bar, and sun decks, as well as a braai patio and secure off-street parking. A Jacuzzi are also available for guests to make use of. A JoJo tank on the property ensures an uninterrupted water supply as well as a generator to supply limited electricity in times of power cuts. There is a private pathway from the guest house giving guests direct access to the beach. Please note that there are dogs on the premises.
The guest house is within easy reach of 8 PGA-rated golf courses including Selborne Country Club, South Broom Golf Club, San Lameer Country Club and the Wild Coast Sun Country Club, which are rated in the top 50 courses in South Africa. A host of activities and a variety of restaurants are easily accessible.
