Description
Beachhaven Golf & Beach Estate is located on the Dolphin Coast overlooking the Indian Ocean and is just 40 minutes from the airport and 55 minutes north of Durban.
Accommodation is offered for up to 6 people with a cot or mattress for an extra child or two.
Stove and air-cons not connected during outages but fans and a gas hob and braai/barbecue are available in their place.
The unit has 3 double bedrooms all with air-conditioning and wonderful sea views.
There are three bathrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower room. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, a large bath and sea views. A guest bathroom is available off the living area level.
The living area, which is on the second floor, is open-plan with high ceilings and amazing sea views.
The unit offers a TV with full DStv, Netflix and a large selection of DVDs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric hob and oven, and a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. The property also offers load-shedding backup with solar power and an inverter.
Quality white linen, towels, soaps and amenities are provided. Beach towels are also provided.
A concealed snooker-pool table and accessories are available on the ground floor. A plunge pool is available on a private garden terrace. There is a deck in the bush with views over the house and out to the Indian Ocean.
Cellphone reception is poor but the reliable Wi-Fi in the house allows for WhatsApp, Skype, Wi-Fi calling etc. A landline telephone can be used for incoming calls.
Private parking for 2 cars is available in a covered carport.
Cleaning service included Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Thandi is also available every day at a small extra cost.
The house is situated on the 5-star rated golf and beach estate, Prince's Grant, and enjoys all the facilities of a superb estate including top security, a restaurant, bar, nature trails, sports facilities, biking, communal pools and children's play areas.
Estate facilities include a bar and restaurant, tennis and squash courts, children's play area, canoes, pedal boats and biking tours and facilities all on-site. There is also a bird hide and 3 communal swimming pools. Yoga, reflexology, beauty treatments also available on the estate.
