Beautiful farm atmosphere, far from town noise. Was kindly received by the host, was already quite late but came to say hello in the cold and told a little about what was happening on the farm. Lovely home that makes you feel at home to want to stay for a week, there is everything you need.

Karoo hospitality from genuine people of heart. The environment and experience is so much more than a place to sleep and makes the bit of dirt road absolutely worth it. Road food for your soul.

Cozy and real farm atmosphere. Beaconsfield is a beautiful old karoo farm with newly built cottage. The cottage is excellently equipped with cozy warm linen. Everything clean and tidy. The short drive on a great dirt road is definitely worth it. Charles and Karen are exceptionally hospitable. Provided firewood and candles. Children thoroughly enjoyed the farm animals. We were even able to walk a little and play with farm animals. Cottage is fenced which gives parents peace of mind. You are private, but as much a part of the farm as you want to be. We will definitely stay there again!
