Good value for money and not far from the main centre. It was a lovely place on a farm not too far from the main road. We had the cottage with 2 bedrooms but only made use of the one bedroom. The cottage was comfortable with hot water, a good bed, nice duvet and pillows, and a fireplace (we didn't need it as it was quite warm). The kitchen was equipped with all the basics, and there was nothing we needed. The host warned us about the road, but it wasn't too bad at all and easily negotiable even at night. The cottage did not have a view of the mountains but looked out onto a nice garden. We thought it might be noisy as when you come in the main gate, there is a lot of machinery being worked on. However, this was not the case, and it was peaceful the whole time. Lovely birdlife around in the beautiful garden. There are 2 dogs, and they are very sweet.

Cosy and comfortable - homey. Rosemary went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Both Rosemary and John were very accommodating and understanding as our plans seemed to change daily. Would definitely stay here again and use it as a base to explore the area in the near future.
