Very peaceful, the hosts made us feel very welcome.

Good value for money and not far from the main centre.

It was a lovely place on a farm not too far from the main road. We had the cottage with 2 bedrooms but only made use of the one bedroom. The cottage was comfortable with hot water, a good bed, nice duvet and pillows, and a fireplace (we didn't need it as it was quite warm). The kitchen was equipped with all the basics, and there was nothing we needed. The host warned us about the road, but it wasn't too bad at all and easily negotiable even at night. The cottage did not have a view of the mountains but looked out onto a nice garden. We thought it might be noisy as when you come in the main gate, there is a lot of machinery being worked on. However, this was not the case, and it was peaceful the whole time. Lovely birdlife around in the beautiful garden. There are 2 dogs, and they are very sweet.

Rustig en fantasties.

Rosemary en Heidi is waardige gasvroue en het uit hulle pad gegaan om ons kuier aangenaam te maak. Dit is ongelooflik veilig en die uitsigte rondom die plaasopstal is iets besonders. Baie dankie vir die bottels heuning wat ons kon koop.

Rosemary went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Both Rosemary and John were very accommodating and understanding as our plans seemed to change daily. Would definitely stay here again and use it as a base to explore the area in the near future.

Dis stil, ongelooflik mooi natuurskoon en die plek is baie skoon en netjies.

Jy het wel nie uitsig op dam en berge, maar kan in die massiewe groot en mooi tuin rond beweeg waar jy wel uitsig op die dam en berge het. Lekker pad vir stap en fiets ry.

'n Heerlike kuier in Champagne Castle.

Ons het van Castleburn in die Underberg na Bell Park gery en allerande plekke op pad besoek - Piggly Wiggly (baie lekker winkels) en Spiral Blue. Ons het Bell Park Self-catering as lêplek gebruik op pad huis toe in Pretoria. Ons wou graag Falcon Crest besoek, maar dit was ongelukkig toe. Die wêreld is baie mooi, maar die paaie is moeilik om te ry as gevolg van slaggate. Rosemary en John by Bell Park was baie vriendelik en ons is van die Blou kamer na die En-Suite opgegradeer. Die bed was baie gemaklik, en die yskassie en teegeriewe was baie welkom.

Fabulous getaway.

What an amazing getaway away from the noise and busyness of everyday life. Rose is a fantastic hostess and has a fountain of knowledge about things to do in the area.

Dis 'n netjiese en ruim tweeslaapkamer woonstel met 2 badkamers en onderdakparkering. Alles wat 'n mens kan nodig kry is daar.

Ons het heerlik gebly op die mooi plaas met 'n pragtige, groot tuin. Dit was lekker koud en het gereën, maar ons het lekker snoesig en warm geslaap.

Baie lieflike en lekker verblyf.

We were spoilt with a suprise cake for our wedding anniversary!. Our children loved the dogs.

Ideale plek om die Drakensberg-omgewing te verken.

Die gasvrou, Rose het baie kennis oor die verskillende besienswaardighede en aktiwiteite in die omgewing. Die kothuis waar ons gebly het is baie goed toegerus, netjies en skoon. Die ideale plek vir 'n kort selfsorgwegbreek.

What a beautiful, serene setting. We absolutely loved it!

Rosemary and Heidi are such gracious hostesses. They are so warm and inviting, make you feel at home and are full of interesting information so that you know exactly where to go to and what to do in the Valley. The cottage has all the mod cons, they have thought of everything! My furbaby came along and he was made to feel most welcome too. And we just fell in love with Coconut and Milo. Thank you Rosemary for an extremely pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Awesome long weekend that ended too soon.

My wife and I and 2 of her good friends stayed in the cottage over the Easter weekend. For us it was the perfect accommodation with so much birdlife and stunning scenery. Rose is the perfect host and very knowledgeable about the Central Berg area. The cottage was spotless and comfortable. Everything we needed was available and much more. The garden is immaculate and it's ever so peaceful to just wander around in. We can't wait to go back again.

Uitstekend geplaas vir Champagne Castle-area.

Elke eenheid by Bell Park is afsonderlik geplaas en goed ingerig. Die eienaars is baie hulpvaardig met versoeke en hulp. Ligging bied toegang vir die hele Champagne Castle-omgewing in die Drakensberge. 26 km vanaf Winterton as naaste dorp.

Baie stil, rustige en pragtige omgewing! Hier kan jy rus vind vir jou siel.

Very pleasant stay

Wonderful host. They provided a great dinner and breakfast. Beautiful views from the breakfast table.

Rose is not only the epitome of friendliness, but goes out of her way to assist her guests with suggestions for destinations for the day; where to go and what to do. Whatever she can do to improve her guest's stay, she will do.

Ek sal môre terug gaan.

Pragtige erf met hoë bome en 'n tuin met hoekies waarin kinders hulle eie wêreld kan skep. Die woonstel is ruim met alles wat ons nodig gehad het en meer. Baie skoon en netjies. Rose is gasvry en vriendelik en het ons dadelik tuis laat voel.

Baie netjies vriendelike ontvangs.

Die GPS in Bergville het ons verkeerde pad laat vat. Grondpad met duisende slaggate. Ons het eindelik verdwaal voordat ons daar aangekom het. Andersins heerlik rustig en stil.

Clean, beautiful and perfectly located.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bell Park B&B and Self-Catering. Rose-Mary is an excellent host who provided lots of details of activities in the area and ensured that our rooms were sparkling clean. The garden is beautiful, full of wonderful birds, the staff are friendly and the self-catering cottage and flat has all you need for your own cooking. Bell Park is close to Monk’s Cowl where we went every day for hiking, it’s also close to the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre, Waffle Hut and Sally se Winkel (museum) that we enjoyed too. We will be sure to visit Bell Park again to use as our base in the beautiful Berg. I highly recommend that you book to stay here, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful place to stay.

Don't judge a book by its cover. At first I was sceptical then we were pleasantly supersised by the wonderful reception and room. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Nice and safe, went for amazing walks on the grounds.

Perfect in all regards. Absolutely perfect.

Very friendly welcome at the very beautiful and still working farm place. The garden is a paradise. The rooms were clean and all was present to have a perfect stay. The place is situated on a very good spot. You feel totally in nature but not too far away are two golf clubs, we loved the more simple monks cow the most, a very nice bakery, do not pass by there without a coffee and something sweet, a place with a marvellous bird show, many hiking trails. There is a small supermarket near to the estate golf club. When you are catering yourself we advise you to buy things in a bigger town. We did it in Howick where you can get everything. We recommend this place very strongly.

Absolute recommendation for a great stay.

The clean mountain air on this farm mixed with the fantastic attention from the hostess make this the ideal getaway to clear one's head after the city buzz. The owner is a perfect host and offers an amazing breakfast. This was a wonderful breakaway. I will definitely go back.

Rustige en bekostigbare oornagverblyf.

Na 'n lang reis vanaf Pretoria het ons by ons bestemming opgedaag. Die plaas atmosfeer was heerlik en ons was die volgende oggend lekker uitgerus. Baie dankie aan Rose-Mary vir die vriendelike ontvangs. Die eenheid was goed toegerus met die mooiste antieke meubels en alles wat jy nodig sal kry. Die plaas was asemrowend. Sal definitief weer daar oornag.

Gemaklik en aangename verblyf.

Volledig toegeruste huis. Verwarmers en elektriese en warm komberse vir die koue winternagte. Ons sal beslis weer daar probeer plek kry as ons in die area wil vakansie hou. Aanbeveel.

Ongelooflike gesinsnaweek!

Met die inry na die bestemming was ons aanvanklik effe skepties. Wat 'n wonderlike verrassing. Dit was stil, netjies, gerieflik, "cosy". Dit was jammer dat ons nie beplan het om langer te bly nie. Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang en enige navraag wat ons gehad het is openlik ontvang en mee gehelp. Die area is pragtig en daar was soveel om te doen in die area. Wat 'n fantastiese 2 dae!

We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our overnight was in well-furnished, old-style quarters with ample room. Although we stayed only for one night, this would be a great option to stay for a longer period and check out the Champaign Valley. You can really unpack and settle in.
