Very disappointing. The house was not what we expected. WiFi was on and off the whole time, bedding and pillows were not good quality at all. House ceilings had mould, pizza oven trays were rusted. Wooden door leading to patio was very difficult to open, especially the one that could hardly be opened. Broken floor tiles in the kitchen. The pool turned green on the second day and we could not use it. Dirty windows in the first bedroom. 3 toilet rolls for the 5 days we stayed there.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the WiFi, this is a fibre connection in a coastal area and occasional interruptions can unfortunately occur, but we do our best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible and can only address an issue if reported. We take comments about bedding, cleanliness, and maintenance seriously. The concerns raised about the ceilings, windows, doors, tiles, and pizza oven trays have been noted and will be addressed with our maintenance and housekeeping teams. The swimming pool is serviced regularly; however, as discussed when you reported this on your departure, a stone that was in the pool was blocking the Kreepy Crawly from operating and this was rectified quickly. Unfortunately, this was only reported on your departure. As a self-catering unit, an initial supply of toilet paper is provided on arrival, with additional supplies expected to be replenished by guests during longer stays. This is standard practice. Two rolls of toilet paper were supplied for each toilet, amounting to six rolls in total. We value all guest feedback as it helps us improve, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.

Clean, peaceful and ideal for families. The accommodation was so neat and clean. The rooms were spacious and the living areas were ideal for our family getaway. The views were amazing and the pool was a highlight for the kids. We will definitely want to book again.

Peaceful, comfortable, relaxing. This was such a beautiful and much-needed getaway. The location is quiet and the views along the Berg River are unmatched. A highlight of our trip was canoeing on the river and making homemade wood-fired pizzas. Also worth a mention is that the customer service is great. My SIL left behind a few clothing items and the property manager kindly couriered them back to us at no extra cost. Such a pleasant interaction, will definitely be booking again!

Absolute fantastic home with nature on your doorstep. We visited Berg River Living with small children, but we felt safe all the time. The house is more beautiful than the pictures on the internet. The host is very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We appreciated all the personal touches throughout the home (e.g. shampoo, toothpaste, etc.). We enjoyed the coffee machine, and the pizza oven was a bonus. The rooms are all so spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We could not get enough of the breathtaking uninterrupted views, as well as the sparkling pool. We managed to go for a few walks along the beautiful coastline. We want to thank the host. We will definitely recommend your home to family and friends.

Ongelooflike huis met asemrowende uitsig. Een van die beste plekke wat ek al by gebly het. Ons groep het klein kinders ingesluit, so die plek is reg vir enige ouderdomsgroep. Sal verseker die plek aanbeveel sonder twyfel. Die plek is netjies, gerieflik, gemaklik, met 'n ongelooflike uitsig.
