Description
Bergland Accommodation is located on a fruit farm at the foot of the Olifantsberg, about 15 km from Worcester and an hour's drive from Cape Town. Bergland also offers a beautiful wedding venue with unobstructed views of the Breede River.
From the R43 a broad dirt road leads to the entrance wall of Bergland.
The accommodation has 10 bedrooms and 4 chalets.
The bedrooms are next to one of the farm ponds and are furnished with a double bed or 2 single beds with white quality linen and towels. Each room has its private en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee-making facilities.
The farm-style Lapa is located on the banks of the farm dam, just a few steps from the rooms. The Lapa has communal kitchen facilities such as a fridge, microwave oven, two plate stove, tea and coffee making facilities, cutlery, crockery, and washing up facilities for all the bedrooms. There is also a TV with DStv. Enjoy a function or event with the majestic mountains in the background.
There is also a swimming pool that forms part of the rooms and the Lapa area. Please note that the guests in the rooms have exclusive use of these areas. The chalets have no access to these communal facilities. The 4 chalets make use of the communal swimming pool at the campsite close by. A short path leads to the swimming pool just behind the chalets.
The 1-bedroom chalets are also surrounded by vineyards and have beautiful mountain views. The chalets each have 1 bedroom with a double bed and a living area with a single bed. Linen and towels are provided. The open plan kitchen has a fridge, toaster, microwave oven, electric braai pan, tea, and coffee making facilities, cutlery, and crockery.
The one-bedroom chalets do not have private bathrooms inside but use stylish bathrooms just outside the units. Each chalet has its own private bathroom. Braai facilities are also available.
The 2-bedroom chalets each have a double bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Linen and towels are provided. They each have an open-plan kitchen and lounge and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
The kitchen has a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, electric frying pan, tea, and coffee-making facilities, cutlery, and crockery. Braai facilities are also available.
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with several hiking and mountain biking trails to explore.
