Big Blue Breaks is a lovely guest house located in Umkomaas on the KwaZulu-Natal coast and is situated 50 km from Durban. This property has solar power to support power outages like load shedding.
The accommodation on offer includes a family unit as well as a 2-sleeper unit. The family unit comprises a separate bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed as well as a double sleeper couch in the lounge suitable for 2 children under the age of 12. The 2-sleeper unit features an open-plan design containing a double bed. Both units have a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
Additionally, each unit has a private patio with braai facilities and a kitchenette equipped with an induction or gas stove, microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A communal swimming pool, a TV and access to free Wi-Fi are available.
The location of this property is ideally situated to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the South Coast with the infamous Aliwal Shoal which offers magnificent reefs for scuba diving and especially shark diving on our doorstep. Nearby attractions also include water sports, golf as well as swimming beaches in both Scottburgh and Pennington.
