Big Tree Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Brits where Mariaan and her team exudes a warm and friendly welcome. The facilities are exceptionally comfortable for wedding attendees, at Zakopane, Jeannelies, Camelot, Altydgoed, Fatherland, and many more, in and around Brits and Hartebeespoort.
Accommodation comprises 7 comfortable rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. In-room amenities include including tea, coffee and rusks, TV with DStv channels, bar fridges and microwaves. Peacefully nestled in a beautifully tranquil garden and in close proximity to many highly prized wedding venues.
The guest house is only 20 minutes from Hartebeespoort with all the tourist attractions it has to offer. The Aerial cable way in "Harties" takes you to what is known as the cleanest air in South Africa on top of the mountain overlooking the exquisite valley below.
Pretoria and Johannesburg is only an hour away. Ann van Dyk's Cheetah Centre, one of the greatest success stories in the conservation of Africa's cheetahs with ambassadors for the centre and wild dogs to name but a few of the highlights. Guests can also spend the day at Tant Malies se Winkel, browsing for delicious home-made treats, or stop for a cup of coffee.
