Bleshoender Accommodation is a self-catering unit situated in Sedgefield, the heart of the Garden Route. It is 25 km from Knysna, and 35 km from George. It is the ideal base from where one can explore the Garden Route. In a hour or less you can reach Mosselbaai, Hartenbos, Oudtshoorn, Plettenbergbay, Buffelsbay, Brenton-on-sea, Wilderniss, Victoriabay, Heroldsbay, Groot Brak river, Small Brak river or Glentana. Stormsriver is a mere 110km away with the worlds highest bungee jumping bridge for the brave of heart. Or try the longest ziplining over the ocean at Mosselbay.
Comfortable accommodation is offered for 2 - 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, in a flatlet beneath the main private residence. It features a double bed and a double bed sleeper couch in the lounge. Guests are required to bring their own bed sheets, pillowcases, and beach towels. Bath towels, pillows and blankets will be supplied.
The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, frying pan, toaster, and sandwich toaster as well as a 2-plate stove with a small oven. The bathroom is fitted with a large shower. There is Wi-Fi internet access and a TV with the full DStv bouquet for your viewing pleasure.
Dishes needs to be done in the outside sink as there is no facility or space available in the flat.
Because of the unit situated in a panhandle, there is no safe place for small kids to play as the surroundings is in levels and the driveway is very steep. Kids needs to by supervised at all the time.
There is an outside braai facility in front of the flat. We regret, no parking is available for trailers, boats, caravans or an extra vehicle.
The establishment is in the delightful village of Sedgefield with the most beautiful views, very quiet and surrounded by birds of all kind. It is within a 1.5 to 2-km radius from some beautiful beaches, the lagoon and shops. On a weekend, the famous Wild Oats, Mosaic, and Scarab markets are open and people travel from all surroundings every Saturday to come and enjoy these markets.
