Blue On Blue Bed and Breakfast is a unique, art-filled guest house located in the beautiful picturesque coastal suburb of St James, on the False Bay coastline between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. St James is conveniently located between the City Centre, Winelands, and Cape Point.
Formerly the residence of artists Ian and Yvonne Currie, Blue On Blue is housed in a 1920s character home filled with architectural details of a bygone era; teak and Oregon pine flooring, antique Venetian fixtures, porthole windows, leaded glass cabinets, and cedar-lined closets. The guest house has been upgraded to serve the needs of our guests, and now harmoniously blends old and new with an art-filled ambiance that the dear Currie’s would appreciate.
Accommodation is offered in 3 light and airy guest rooms, each with its own character and colour. The beds are made up with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets, and each room has an en suite or a private bathroom, a ceiling fan, and an electric heater. Free Wi-Fi is available.
A full breakfast with bread, cheese, yogurt, and fresh fruit is provided. Hot breakfasts are prepared to order.
