Booiskraal Farmstay offers farm-style self-catering accommodation on a working Karoo sheep farm just 70 km north of Beaufort West from Cape Town direction on a detour gravel road, and 45 km west on a detour gravel road from 3 Sisters and Krom River from Johannesburg direction.
The homely self-catering unit has its own private entrance and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The unit comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen and living and dining area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. There is an additional floor mattress. The third bedroom contains a bunk bed. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The cosy lounge area has plenty of seating.
The Studio is a 2-bedroom unit with a kitchenette, lounge and bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath, with a separate toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave and stove.
There is no cell phone reception, but there is Wi-Fi available.
Guests can explore the scenic views and fun activities, and experience the seasonal shearing and lambing on the farm.
