Fitting setting, friendly staff and great atmosphere in the pub at night.

Would suggest also equipping the self-catering rooms with plates, knives and forks.

Warm and clean.

Nice place, clean. One miscommunication with the manager/owner meant a 20-minute wait to get let in, otherwise a nice spot.

For per night, per room we expected better accommodation.

For the rate we paid per room, we were disappointed. The rooms felt small, old and in need of maintenance. The bathroom door in No. 1 had to be fixed, the shower looked like it had mold or needed a good clean up. The plugs tripped more than once in room no. 2. It was advertised that the rooms had free WiFi and were self-catering, but we could only receive WiFi in the restaurant/bar area, and the air fryer was dirty when we opened it to use it in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful though when we asked for help.
