Bramleigh Farm offers quiet, country accommodation on a small scale farm, nestled between mountains and indigenous forest. Bramleigh Farm is situated in Fort Nottingham, 25 km outside Nottingham Road village along a 5 km dirt road.
The Orchard Cottage comfortably sleeps 4 guests and features 2 bedrooms, a spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed, fireplace, patio and its own en-suite bathroom with shower and Victorian style bathtub.
The facilities are solar-powered, and natural cleaning products are used throughout meaning a guilt-free, sustainable stay, but no lack of comfort with electric blankets, heated towel rails and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Guests can purchase produce from the farm, including pasture-raised chicken and eggs, forest raised pork, and seasonal organic vegetables; as well as other locally sourced artisanal products.
Tucked between mountains and forest means there is no cellphone signal or TV, so guests can switch off, relax and reconnect. Enjoy walks in the indigenous forest, which is home to over 200 species of birds, as well as age-old yellowwood trees. Activities in the surrounding area include hiking or cycling up the mountain, game viewing, and fly fishing as well as being 20 minutes from the Midlands Meander route.
