Description
Breede Bush Camp offers a private and exclusively booked campsite with a central living area located on the banks of the Breede River, 34 km south of Swellendam.
The accommodation can accommodate 8 guests at a time and consists of 4 canvas dome tents located along the river banks on raised wooden platforms, with viewing decks in front of each. Each tent can accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with 2 single beds and a bedside table. Linen, blankets, and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The central living area features a bathroom, kitchen, and lounge that are located in a separate building. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area features a 10-seater dining table and a lounge with comfortable couches in front of an indoor fireplace for those cold winter evenings.
A large open lawn area with a fire pit and braai area is available for guests' enjoyment. Guests have full access to the river, which is perfect for swimming, canoeing, and other water activities. There are an endless number of gravel trails nearby for mountain biking. This property runs on solar power.
