Disappointing stay amidst construction chaos. During our entire stay at Breede River Lodge Waterfront Room 106, construction took place with disruptive sounds reaching levels to the point that we could not use our room during the day. Also, due to the fact that construction debris was falling onto our balcony, this significantly impacted our experience. Despite our efforts to address the issue with management and engage with the owners, we were met with dismissive responses and a lack of accountability. The noise and disruption from the construction made it difficult to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Unfortunately, the management's refusal to take responsibility and compensate us left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. We hope that future guests are spared from a similar experience and that the lodge takes steps to improve their customer service and communication regarding such situations.
