We were treated like children by the owner and they made us feel terribly unwelcome. Our weekend was supposed to be a sleepover with family who came to visit from the Cape and a cozy braai on Saturday with family in the surrounding area. We communicated our plans promptly the first day after the booking was confirmed and we received no email back of any objections. On Friday, WhatsApps were sent back and forth again, where it was made clear that it was actually a problem. We proposed to cancel it instead, the owner confirmed we are sticking to the arrangements.
