Boshuisies @ De Hoop Cottages offers 2 self-catering cabins located at De Hoop Cottages near Robertson. It is nestled on the peaceful farm Laaiplaas, where limited cell phone reception ensures a tranquil sojourn. The farm, situated at the end of the De Hoop-kloof at the foot of the Langeberg, offers stunning views of nature and the majestic mountain.
The cabins can each accommodate 4 guests and comprise 1 bedroom furnished with a double bed and an open-plan lounge area with a bunk bed and cosy fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas fridge, a gas cooker top, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Each cabin makes use of a private bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet in the separate ablution block. There also is a communal scullery for doing dishes. Gas geysers supply hot water. Guests are required to bring their own linen and towels.
Each cabin walks out onto a patio with outdoor seating and a braai area and guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.
Apart from the breathtaking views of the mountain, guests can enjoy nature by doing some bird watching, taking a hike on the farm, or in the kloof to reach the clear mountain pools and have a swim in the dams. Alternatively, they can relax on the deck and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
The farm is only 10 km from town and a 15-minute drive from all necessary shops if need be, as well as all the wine cellars that the valley is renowned for.
