Lovely weekend, would recommend a Kaapsehoop getaway to everyone. The cabin and garden are lovely and what a beautiful part of the country. The cottage needs some TLC, especially the bathroom. The village of Kaapsehoop is stunning; we were even lucky to see some of the wild horses on our last day there. The two restaurants are very nice and I really loved the Bohemian Cafe - very arty and unusual. We had a great weekend. Wonderful It was incredibly nice at the cottage. Owner moved us from the smaller place to the bigger place without any charges. We were 3 adults. All utensils for self-catering were there. It was bitterly cold and the electric blankets were a bonus and the gas heater made it very warm in the front house. There are braai facilities for our braai men.
