Camissa Cottage @ Camissa Farm is a charming Scandinavian-styled modern and rustic cabin located in the Banhoek Valley, between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. High in the mountains and up in the clouds, it offers a stunning view of the valley and across the landscaped orchards on the valley floor to the Simonsberg and Drakenzicht mountains.
This cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and furnished with a king-size bed, while the second and third bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, respectively. They share the use of 2 bathrooms fitted with showers, basins, and toilets. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a dining space where guests can enjoy their meals. It opens up to a lounge furnished with comfy couches and a TV and a cosy fireplace. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The doors of the lounge open up to a deck with outdoor seating, and swinging chairs, and boast beautiful views overlooking the mountains. There is an open braai and fire pit in a stone-cobbled area next to the cottage.
This area is perfect for those who enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including bird watching, mountain biking, cycling, and swimming. The peaceful surroundings also provide excellent dining options and numerous wine-tasting opportunities. For an evening out, the award-winning restaurants in Paarl and Stellenbosch are highly recommended. Additionally, nearby activities such as horse riding, fishing, and tennis offer further enjoyment.
