Peace and quiet. Lovely staff and hosts. Most beautiful place on Vaal Oewer. So quiet and relaxing with an amazing view of the river. Loved the hosts. Chef prepared excellent hearty meals. Also, a very friendly barman. Bar built on water so you sip your cocktail overlooking calm river. Thanks much. P.S. Well-kept gardens all over.

Never again at this place from this past weekend's experience. My wife and I will never visit this place again. The cabin 1 that we stayed in is OK, not bad, but the bathroom is in a terrible state. Cleanliness is 0 for us. I asked to move to another room the next day and the cleanliness in that room was worse. The drain for the shower was not working. The basins in both rooms are dirty and looked like they have never been cleaned in 2 months or so. Overall we expected to have a nice weekend but my wife was so unhappy. The staff (manager) was a nice guy, but the place to stay I would not recommend again.
