Description
Cape Capsules Backpackers is an upmarket and safe backpackers ideal for fun-loving young adults and overseas travellers, located in Muizenberg. The backpackers is located across the road and over a dune from a long stretch of sandy beach.
Unique dormitory accommodation is offered in lockable Premier and Deluxe Capsules. Each capsule has its own plugs inside the pod, and hypo-allergenic linen and pillows. Hairdryers and flat-irons are available for the ladies. On a first-come first-serve basis there are 8 lockers for guests to use with their own padlocks.
The Capsules have use of 2 communal bathrooms with showers, toilets and washbasins. Each bathroom offers complimentary shampoo, conditioner, handwash and toilet paper.
Guests have use of a communal kitchen facility that is well-equipped with a microwave, toasters, cooking utensils and cutlery and crockery. A tea and coffee station is also available.
There is a chill area at the front of the backpackers with a table and chairs, a dartboard, a pool table and a small library. There is also a back terrace with braai facilities, hammocks and seating. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
The backpackers has a small kiosk available for emergency purchases such as headache tablets, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, tampons, water and soft drinks.
A continental breakfast and a laundry service are available at an additional fee. Shuttle services and tour packages can be arranged on request. An iron and ironing board are available for guests’ use.
