Casa Alegre Guesthouse is a charming retreat surrounded by nature in Marina Beach, just a 400m walk from Marina Beach’s Blue Flag beach and tidal pool. This guesthouse is the perfect seaside escape for individuals, couples, families, groups, or golf enthusiasts.
Casa Alegre, meaning "Happy House," offers guests a choice of 3 en-suite rooms, each accommodating 2 people. Rooms can be booked individually or together for families and groups. The "Grape" room features a king-size bed with a sleeper couch for a small child, with a bathroom that includes a shower only. The "Fig" room has a double bed and a bathroom equipped with both a bath and a shower. The "Olive" room is furnished with 2 three-quarter beds, making it ideal for children, 2 men, or 2 women sharing. If preferred, the beds can be joined to create a king-size bed for couples. This room also has a full bathroom with a bath and a shower. Each room includes a coffee station and the popular Casa Alegre rusks, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The rooms open onto a spacious balcony, with each sliding door leading to a private seating area with a table and chairs. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool on the lower balcony during warm coastal days. Braai facilities are available for those who want to enjoy a traditional South African barbecue.
Breakfast is available upon request at an additional cost.
Marina Beach offers a variety of activities, including fishing, swimming, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, golfing, hiking, and mountain biking trails.
