Disappointed. Food was below average. First night's buffet was terrible. Waiter was assaulted by a client in the dining area. Very bad. We actually went and ate somewhere else for the next two days. Staff actually laughed when we said we are eating out. Accommodation very expensive and we were expecting value for money. Didn't receive it. Establishment definitely does not cater for South Africans but is aimed at international visitors who settle for less. Rooms old and outdated.

Staff are friendly, but no people to help with luggage and the dinner was also very expensive. We've been at Casa do Sol before and the place has deteriorated a lot and the gardens are neglected and the place needs a lot of upkeep. Dinner was basic and then it was R295-00 per person and that is not good value for money. The place used to be 4-star, but now I only give them 2 stars.
