Wonderful weekend away. Really enjoyed our time at Chandelier. The hostess, Jane, made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable with our tent and facilities. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Our guide, Hailey, made our stay even more enjoyable for the kids. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions about the animals and plants in the area. Meeting Sheila the giraffe was an added bonus. She's a beauty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Chandelier near Outshoorn. We loved the Giraffe Sheila & the Restaurant looking over the pond. It was most fortunate as they had had good rains so there was water in the dam too. The restaurant staff were great & we had two lovely breakfasts there. We had made a faux paux with our booking & only discovered this on arrival. We had booked tents but they were not suitable for 4 of us to self-cater. The staff were amazing & a chalet was available so they set it up & we were very happy (would have been much cheaper if we knew). The deck area was lovely for a braai & relaxing while we played cards. The Nyala wander past the deck & it was great to see them at close quarters. The game drive was lovely & Marcel was very knowledgeable. A perfect sunset was appreciated on the way back. We travel a lot & a very common complaint is the showers. Unfortunately the shower was a mere dribble & I'm sure this can be resolved quite easily. Would definitely recommend a short stay here.
