Charihandra Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned lodge situated in the malaria-free Addo region of the Eastern Cape. The lodge offers tranquillity and peace with magnificent views over the mountains and breathtaking Addo sunsets. Equipped with modern conveniences in a secure beautiful setting, a mere 24 km from the Addo Elephant National Park and only 48 km from the Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport.
Accommodation is offered in 4 thatched chalets, which are stylish, well-equipped, and offer separate independent sun decks and braai areas. Each chalet features air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and a kitchen that is equipped with a stove, a microwave and a fridge. The chalets have a safe for valuables, a hairdryer, and a heater for those chilly winter nights. Guests can relax on their deck and watch herds of antelope feeding close by, while listening to the bush sounds incorporating songs of the 300 bird species found at the lodge.
The eco-reserve and game lodge offers an authentic South African safari vacation and the function venue is ideal or for small groups, conferences, team building or business indaba’s, accommodating 12 guests or delegates. The private function areas include a thatched restaurant, poolside boardroom or meeting room, outdoor lapa and undercover braai area, and a large bush boma.
