Beautiful view. Entrance at street level, 2 flights of stairs down to entrance, then 2 more up to your room with luggage. No coffee making facilities and only got complimentary coffee one morning. Plug for computer and so reasonable to expect, but only a hanging plug in air under TV, dangerous. Entrance to gate in may pitch dark and hidden staircase.

Hi Chrissie, thank you so much for staying with us. You are 100% right. Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair friendly, and we do not advertise that we are. Kalk Bay is an area that has many steep hills, and you will find that there are stairs all over the area. The Guesthouse is one of these houses that have stairs all over as well as inside, and as it is a heritage site, we are unable to make any changes to it. We are also a smoke-free zone; however, we have a designated smoker's area which is located outside on the patio. By law, you are not allowed to smoke indoors anymore. We also offer a complimentary coffee/tea service every morning that you do not have to pay for. This is served from 7:15 am - 9:00 am daily and brought up to your room to make up for us not having tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
