Perfect and relaxing. The stay was excellent. Loved the environment, house, and tranquility. The host and hostess were brilliant, very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful house in pristine fynbos landscape with a lovely sea view. We had a family reunion at Cockleshell House - 8 people staying over and more visiting for lunch/dinners. The house held us all comfortably. At one stage, we were 12 people for Sunday lunch and it still didn't feel overcrowded. There was enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for everyone. The weather was atrocious, but the wood-burning stove kept us warm. We drove out to enjoy olive, beer and wine tasting in the area. When it wasn't raining, we went for long walks amongst the fynbos. We had a little buck nibbling on leaves in front of the house and a flock of Franklins coming to look for food on the veranda. It was the perfect place to host our family gathering and make wonderful memories. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful house! Beautiful sea view and holiday home, fully equipped for 8 people. There is battery system that keeps TV and lights on during loadshedding, and the en suite rooms are a bonus. Note 2 rooms are on the second floor and one only has a bath, but that was no problem for us. Will definitely book here again!
