Cogs and Gears is set high against Tygerberg Hill, in the quiet upmarket residential area of Plattekloof, about 18km North of Cape Town CBD. The area offers a 180-degree view of Cape Town, from Robben Island in the West, across Table Bay Harbour, Cape Town Stadium, all the way to Muizenberg in the South. Table Mountain provides the frame for picturesque sunsets in summer.
This unit accommodates 4 guests comes equipped with 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. Other in-room facilities include a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, air-conditioning, a lounge area, smart TV and uncapped Wi-Fi throughout the unit . The kitchen is equipped with an induction plate, microwave oven, full-size fridge freezer and a drip coffee machine.
The whole unit is on solar power, which is shared with the rest of the property. Batteries are used as a backup during load shedding.
Free parking is available off-road, in front of the unit's entrance.
The unit is 1km from the private Panorama Medi-Clinic hospital, oncology and dialysis treatment centers and numerous specialists. Netcare N1 hospital is easily accessible and is 4km away. There are many unspoiled beaches in the area, such as the well-known Blaauwbergstrand with its superb windsurfing weather, the bikini and swimming beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, and Muizenberg, which is known as a surfer's paradise.
