Coleford Lodge is situated approximately 29 km outside Underberg, in the Southern Drakensberg, in the Uklahlamba World Heritage site. Escape to a lifestyle of tranquillity and join us for a relaxing time away from home.
Coleford Lodge is the ideal off the grid venue. Enjoy the bird life, game in the reserve, hiking, fishing, picnic next to the river, volley ball, or bring your own mountain bike. Coleford Lodge can also arrange a 4x4 tour up the famous Sani Pass into Lesotho for those who have passports. An array of activities are available on and off site.
Coleford Lodge offers bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation for individuals, families or large groups. Accommodation is offered in 7 natural stone old Colonial-style units with large verandah’s overlooking the garden and valley below. The units can sleep between 2 and 6 people and are well-equipped and furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Guests can relax by the pool or in the garden and enjoy the view. The fully equipped lapa is available for those who want to play some pool, darts, board games or relax by the fireplace. The communal kitchen in the lapa is fully equipped and ideal for larger groups. The evenings can be spent next to fire pits with family and friends. We also cater for small gatherings of up to 50 people.
