It was a short stay, booked at short notice, but a great stay nonetheless. The place was very close to where we needed to go. The staff was friendly and helpful with our needs. Definitely our place of choice for future Grahamstown visits. We were looking for schools for our boys!

Visiting arts festival for the weekend. Given the key in the driveway with no directions to room or welcome info. No information provided regarding breakfast times or where breakfast is served. Didn't have breakfast. Only 1 towel provided although booked for 2. Only 1 coffee sachet provided and 1 drinking glass in room.

I had a meeting with my staff this morning, the lady who checked you in said that you asked for the key to your room whilst sitting in your car in the driveway and she assumed that you knew where your room was. We apologise again for this mistake made. Regarding the towel, an extra set of towels was given to you and your partner when you met 1 of the staff members on the premises. This was told at the meeting as well, coffee for 1 and a drinking glass for 1, again we apologise profusely. The room was prepped for 1 guest and not 2, all human error. We would've happily addressed the issues at the guesthouse when you checked in, if we had known. As I recall, you did have my cell number when you called me early morning, as you wanted to check in before our usual check-in time, a quick call or message to me again would've solved all of the above, nevertheless, we are truly sorry for the unpleasant experience.

Spacious, clean and tidy with good quality bedding. Friendly staff, lovely, spacious detached place with its own veranda and lawn with lovely shade.
