We stayed with pleasure. Nice, comfortable cottage in nice surroundings. Complete for a couple like us. Some technical issues need attention. Internet is good but doesn't cover the whole cottage, TV without channels, electrics are not all in order as the warm water supply needs to restart every time after load shedding.

Especially that the cleaning wasn't done proper and old coffee was left in the coffee machine is not acceptable. Again, sorry for that. Just a phone call and I would have had a chance to sort out your legitimate complaints promptly! Regarding the missing items like soap, shampoo etc.. As advertised our Cottage Chenin is a fully self-catering place and it is not rated by TGCSA, so it 's not "a 3-5 star unit", the five units at "Constantia Cottages", Walloon Road, are rated as a 4 star accommodation by TGCSA. Nevertheless welcome coffee and tea bags have to be available for our guests, a bag in the bin goes without saying. Sorry for that neglect! Regarding the not working DStv: At check-in I told you that the decoder in the cottage is faulty and I had one with me (taken out of one of our apartments). Your boyfriend said that's not a problem and the swap of the decoders is not necessary as the internet connection is that strong in the cottage and he can watch his rugby on the Internet. So I left the decoder in our entrance hall. At check-in we discussed the time for your check-out. First you wanted to check-out at 5h00 which wouldn't have been a problem for us, not at all. Your boyfriend said that he can get you a lift to the airport first and check out later. So we arranged check-out for 7h00, latest 8h00, and your boyfriend would phone us 15min before he wants to leave, so that one of us can come over to the cottage. On day of departure we got a sms from you at 6h41 saying that "we left before 5 this morning … and the keys are left in your post box of Walloon Road 14. Thanks a lot". Sorry, but I can't see what we have done wrong in that regard.
