Description
Contemporary Living on Thesen Islands is a double-storey self-catering house located on the peaceful residential estate of Thesen Islands in Knysna. The Thesen Islands estate offers 24-hour security and access control, as well as a variety of interesting shops and restaurants.
The stylish and modern house can accommodate up to 12 guests and comprises 6 bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.
The first, second and third bedrooms are upstairs. The first spacious bedroom contains a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a lounge area with a TV with DStv, a 4-seater dining table and chairs, and its own kitchenette equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. This room opens to a balcony overlooking the waterways. The second bedroom contains a king-size bed. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds. There is also an upstairs TV lounge area with a couch and a TV.
The fourth bedroom is downstairs and contains a king-size bed, a fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and twin washbasins. This room opens to the swimming pool area. The kitchen, dining and living area are also downstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains an 8-seater dining table and a fireplace. The lounge contains seating and a flat-screen TV with DStv. The living area has stacker doors opening on both sides to the outdoors. On one side is a covered deck with seating and built-in braai facilities. On the other side, it opens to a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture, a second built-in braai, and a swimming pool deck.
The property also has its own private jetty and gazebo right on the waterway.
