In the 20 years of visiting South Africa and staying in a variety of self-catering places, I can say this was the best. The accommodation was comfortable, well-maintained, and serviced. The kitchen, for me as a keen cook, was a standout. Well equipped with a proper stove, microwave, and an airfryer, it was outstanding. There were all the utensils needed for preparing a meal, not just a blunt kitchen knife and a couple of battered saucepans, which unfortunately is too often the case. There was a full range of tableware and cutlery. The hostess was friendly and helpful at all times. If my circumstances allow, I shall be back next year.
