Very unpleasant and totally not what we expected. Host called me to say they have a double booking, just to WhatsApp me 2 minutes later to say they cancelled. Cottage was not as clean as on pictures. Aircon didn't work and we really struggled with the gate going off-rail. Just a very unpleasant stay and will never recommend anyone to stay there.

For the various, numerous guests which has stayed at our lovely cottage, you were the first to have had an issue with the driveway gate, which I assume was not handled correctly or opened too quickly which could have lead to it going of the rail. This could have happened to anyone, so we apologise for this trouble you experienced, I did however correct the gate after you have checked in. With regards to the aircon unit not working, as murhpy's law, stuff breaks and happen at the least expected moment and we apologise for this. We can assure you that the place was very clean, sanitised before you checked in, and if you didn't feel that is was clean enough to your opinion then we apolosise for that too.
