Best forgotten.

On arrival at Kyalami Terrace Estate I was denied access because I didn't have a stand number. I then called the cell phone contact number given on my booking confirmation, only to learn that 'the number you dialled does not exist'. I had to then revert to emails back and forth with the owner. Waiting you in the room (it's not a cottage) there is a contract of several pages that you're expected to sign. It absolves the owners of every liability imaginable, including negligence on their part, and requires you to confirm in writing that you will abide by Kyalami Terrace rules. But what are the rules? There is tea, coffee and sugar in the room but no milk or creamer. The fridge has a small stock of drinks which guests can purchase, but no long life milk or similar on offer. There was a fire extinguisher in the room but it's well hidden and not easily accessible. The said contract requires guests to obtain an exit code before leaving. Guests have to check out by 9:00. I tried to obtain a code by email, SMS and phone call (to the number that doesn't exist) soon after 8:00 without success. Enough said.

Good enough for someone just looking for a bed.

Is good for someone who is just looking for a bed. Shared bathroom is a problem. Belongs on an Air bnb and not on Lekkerslaap.
