We booked this cottage for 6 nights but specifically requested a king-size bed as I have a very sensitive back and need a large bed. I was told that there were queen-size beds and that they could not accommodate my request for a king-size bed. Upon arrival, we discovered that both beds were double beds. The cottage is located off the parking lot for Critchley Hackle and unfortunately does not have a garden at the back. Instead, there is just a small area with limited seating, no garden, and no view. It is essentially a brick-paved courtyard. Luckily, we were able to find alternative accommodation in Critchley Hackle that was much more suitable. However, we had to pay again for our 6 nights and have not received any communication regarding a refund. I would not recommend this cottage at all. We also discovered that there is a very noisy and large generator right next to this cottage!

Had you contacted us on the day of arrival when the problem occurred we could have made alternative arrangements, yet you only contacted the booking platform on the day of departure.
After back and forth with the booking platform we had the agreement to refund 50% of the cost as the booking platform was prepared to do the same. I can only suggest contacting the booking platform to find out about your refund as we've already settled the matter as we've paid the refund over to the booking platform.
