Description
Surrounded by the bush, Crocriver Chalet is a spacious self-catering chalet for 6 people on a farm in the Schoemanskloof.
The chalet comprises of a bedroom with a queen-size bed, as well as a loft that is furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, and the second outdoor bathroom overlooks the river and has a shower. Both bathrooms are supplied with hot water from a geyser. For convenience, all linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. The large lounge is equipped with a TV with DStv, as well as a cosy fireplace.
The living area opens onto large wooden deck which overlooks the Crocodile river. A lapa and a fire pit is located close to the river. Crocriver Chalet does not have any cellphone reception but Wi-Fi is available.
Various activities are available on the farm ranging from fishing, bird watching, hiking and biking. Please note, the chalet is reached by a 7 km gravel road and it is advisable to use a vehicle with high ground clearance.
