Beautifully restored and furnished with antiques, the Cypress Cottages face each other and are located in one of the most quiet and picturesque streets of the town.
Cypress Cottage No 80 dates back to the 1800s and combines authentic Karoo style and ambience with modern comfort.
Accommodation comprises 2 separate bookable rooms in the main cottage and a separate freestanding cottage, suited to accommodate 2 guests, each room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with either, a bath and shower or just a shower. All the bathrooms have their own amenities, such as white linen and towels.
Each cottage has its own private garden, and all the rooms are air-conditioned. DStv, free Wi-Fi and safe off-street parking are available. The rate includes a full Karoo breakfast with cereals, yoghurt and fruit. Guests can swim in the borehole-fed dam, and enjoy the swings and spacious lawn.
This property is equipped with a fully functional, eco-friendly solar system for generating electricity during load shedding.
The town centre is within walking distance of the property where guests can make dinner reservations at any one of the variety of restaurants. As the Gem of the Karoo, the town warrants a two-night stop-over.
