At the very top of the idyllic mountain village of Hogsback, there is a small farm called Daneswold Cottage boasting a view of valley, mountain, and forest, the inherent tranquillity and beauty of this piece of heaven brings you to a standstill.
This cottage can accommodate 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a separate toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 ⅔ beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, and shower, and there’s a separate basin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a breakfast island with stools. There’s a 4-seater table where guests can enjoy their meals. The lounge has comfortable couches and a TV with selected DStv channels and features a cosy fireplace. Free Wi-Fi is available with a UPS backup power for power disruptions.
The patio has seating space with a built-in braai area and boasts beautiful views and guests can see the cattle graze peacefully in the grass field around the house. Covered parking is available for 1 vehicle.
