Davley House @ St James is a charming self-catering property, beautifully situated in St James, Kalk Bay. This heritage property, over 100 years old, has been recently renovated, combining its historic charm with modern comforts. Just a short walk from the iconic St James Beach and the vibrant Kalk Bay area, it offers easy access to galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants. With stunning views of the False Bay coastline and seasonal whale sightings, along with the soothing sound of the ocean, Davley House creates a memorable and relaxing holiday experience in Cape Town.
The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed ideal for 2 kids. They share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower. The fifth bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, oven, toaster, cutlery, crockery, and a Nespresso machine. There is a dishwasher and microwave provided in the pantry area. The dining area has a spacious table with chairs and is ideal for guests to enjoy their meals together, next to the fireplace. The lounge has comfy couches and opens up to the patio with breathtaking views. A baby cot is available on request and there is a baby feeding chair on-site.
