Convenient, clean and perfect for a comfortable stay in Stellies. We stayed in the cottage at De Haas Living @ Die Laan 40 with friends. It was ideally located close to all the restaurants and the university. Nicely decorated and very clean and tidy. The pool was a life saver in the 40 degree heat of Stellies. Staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely stay again.

We definitely would recommend the guesthouse. We had a very nice and pleasant time at the guesthouse. The very spacious room was the best and I had enough space with my teenage daughter. The proximity to the university (where our other daughter is studying), to the centre of Stellenbosch and the nearby wine farms, plus the close distance to Cape Town is sensational. We were a bit surprised that we couldn't actually reach anyone on site and therefore were unable to take advantage of the breakfast offered from 8.00 to 10.00 am on the first day. On the other days we didn't even try to have breakfast, but went to nearby cafes. But there is an offer for a breakfast!

Great location. De Haas was perfect for our one night in Stellenbosch. The location is great and close to some of the best restaurants in Stellenbosch. We stayed in the pool house; it was neat and tidy and had everything we needed.

Beautiful rooms, quiet. Overnight with wife and baby. Large rooms with air conditioning. Wish I could have such a bed in my house. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Staff and management very friendly and helpful.
