Description
De Meule Farmstay is located near the end of Prince Albert, next to a nature reserve. The 17-hectare property is a one-of-a-kind farm stay that offers guests the best of both worlds. The property also includes a national monument, one of South Africa's oldest mills.
The house has 5 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms both have a king-size bed and en-suite bathrooms with a bath and a shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The fourth and fifth bedrooms have queen-size beds and share a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. The spacious living area features comfortable couches and a dining table with ample seating.
The outdoor areas, which include a patio dining area and a large built-in braai overlooking the solar-heated pool, are the most popular. Guests can enjoy views of the veld from the garden, which also includes an orchard and a vegetable garden. There is a dam ideal for swimming and fishing, as well as nature walks for those interested in birding and spotting our friendly tortoises or the more elusive porcupines, bushbuck, and dassies.
