Description

Welcome to De Oude Scholen, Victoria West. The main building of De Oude Scholen was built in 1891 during the historical Kimberley mine diggings and served as an education facility for children whose parents worked on the mines. Being the first primary school in Victoria-West, the building holds a history and an air of nostalgia found within its foundations.

Since its early days the building has served as a church and a bank and is now known as De Oude Scholen B&B. This building has found its place in the dry Karoo and serves as a cool and refreshing oasis for the weary traveller.

All units consist of a flat screen TV with DStv, all 7 units are equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets for the cold winter days and nights.

All rooms are furnished with style and tranquillity.

Our establishment is graded with the AA as highly recommended.
