We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deane Cottage. Beautiful accommodation. Deane Cottage is simply stunning and certainly a home away from home. The cottage had everything we needed for our week's stay and is perfectly located while we attended IPT at the UFS astro. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Serene, clean and welcoming. From the moment we were welcomed, everything was perfect. The cottage is located in a very quiet area, in a serene garden with lots of birdlife. Yet it is still close to restaurants, shops, etc. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped if you want to cater for yourself. The linen is lovely, and there are other small touches which make a person feel at home. We had to leave to continue our business trip, but changed our programme so that we could stay here again on the way back - that is how comfortable we were! Are there any quirks? The driveway is quite steep, so it might be difficult if you are a nervous driver. And there is a pressure pump that you can hear from the bedroom, although this has been soundproofed so it is not something that kept us awake at all.

Fantastic in every aspect. My stay at Deane Cottage was fantastic. The unit is very well equipped, clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Bonus: you can go for a walk in the adjoining conservation area directly from the premises. The host is a great person, and she went the extra mile to find out information on different activities in the Bloemfontein area. Her staff is equally friendly, efficient, and kind. I stayed for 5 nights and will return if I am in Bloemfontein again.
