It was lovely and peaceful. The children really enjoyed the swimming and wild animals. The service is excellent and we were able to just relax and have some great family time. Will visit again for sure.

Quiet and peaceful, very nice view, tidy. Fresh from the farm! The cottage was fully equipped, clean, tidy and private with a lovely splash pool to cool off in. Nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breathtaking to wake up to all the different wild animals moving around and in front of the cottage. Can definitely recommend the place to stay for people with children and people who love wildlife and we will definitely go again. Thank you for Willem and Lizel's hospitality.

Very friendly service and pure farm tranquility! We experienced very friendly service and really enjoyed the Vineyards Cottage - everything we needed. The location was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle and we were surrounded by exceptional natural beauty that stretched as far as the eye could see. We will definitely return again. The beds were also very comfortable - we slept like rocks!

Shepherd's Cottage was a piece of heaven and Willem and his team looked after us so well! We couldn't have asked for better! We were in Paarl for a wedding at Zonnevanger Venue, which was only 5 minutes down the road. Everything at Oude Denneboom was just perfect, from the indoor barbecue on the cold Thursday evening, to the outdoor boma barbecue on the sunny Saturday afternoon, from the early morning mist over the vineyards to the late nights with red wine in front of the fireplace, from waking up to wildebeest under the tree outside the bedroom window, to the moose walking past in the late afternoon. Feel very blessed that we were able to experience this piece of heaven!

Breathtakingly delicious! What a breathtakingly beautiful place! Tastefully furnished. Absolutely the feeling of farm. Bedding was crisp. Everything is there that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A decidedly delicious lazy hangout with the bonus of lovely wildlife to enjoy.
