Deo Volente is situated 5 km outside of Thabazimbi on the road to Marakele National Park. We pride ourselves in the fact that we are more than just a guest house. Our 7 luxury bedrooms are set in serene tranquility and our dinner menu is unparalleled in the entire area. Whether you are a leisure or business traveller, Deo Volente will exceed your wildest expectations. Set on 8Ha of prime Bushveld, it is a nature lover’s dream, with dams and ponds, beautiful gardens and a huge variety of animal life.
Deo Volente Guest Lodge offers much more than just a room. We have managed to create a piece of paradise in the climatically otherwise harsh Bushveld environment. The three man-made dams have berthed entirely new ecosystems, complete with unique and abundant wild life. Our central lounge and dining room area is equipped with a fireplace for cold winter nights and other features include a built-in barbecue and a swimming pool. Self-catering options are also available.
If you are looking for accommodation in Thabazimbi, there is simply no other choice. Walk amongst our tame Springbok, Nyala & Impala and if you are lucky, one of them might even eat from your hand during snack time in the late afternoon. Our prolific bird life have attracted bird watchers from around the globe. Come see rare species like the Rare Green Pidgeon and Crakes, indigenous water birds, Barn Owl, a variety of duck and geese and of course, our resident Grey Heron breeding pair.
