Description
Die Anker is a spacious self-catering holiday home for up to 8 people in Velddrif on the West Coast, and is just 100 m from the Berg River.
The double-storey house comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, toilets, and hand washbasins. The other 2 bedrooms each contain a double bed, and shares the use of a bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower, a toilet, and a hand wash basin. A guest toilet is also available on the ground floor, as well as a hot-water, outdoor shower.
The large open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, stove and oven, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or the 8-seater dining table.
The lounge is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. The living area also has a built-in braai area and a gas braai.
Parking is available in a single automated garage, which is fitted with a washing machine. Outdoor braai facilities are available to enjoy a fish braai and watching the sunset.
Die Anker is 700 m from various restaurants and guests can enjoy riverboat cruises, row on the Berg River, swim at the nearby beaches, and do some bird watching on the river. Vredenburg is 24 km away, and Langebaan and Club Mykonos is just 40 km away for guests who like to explore.
